Death, where is your sting?
When Hope springs from within
The pain of the night
Subdued at dawn by the Light
Where he prepares a house for us to rest
A haven where no more tears will be shed
Death, where is your sting?
When comfort comes from Him
A peace that surpasses all understanding
Embrace us and become a place of dwelling
Console us as we mourn our loss
Let us remember there are many rooms in your house
Yet, pour out your love
Send us strength from above
You alone can still our hearts
Death, where is your sting?
When heaven is beyond our wildest dreams
There we will meet our beloved once again
Belonging, underneath your wings
Until then, save a spot for us
On that day we will dance, sing and rejoice
And no more crying, pain, or sorrow
